BRIDGES
By Keith Coker and the Bridges staff

We meet with the kids

They’re bouncing off the walls.

We try to keep them in control

Before they take a fall.

Anger, fear, and attitude,

It’s just an average day.

Crying, Crisis, Going off,

It’s just the Bridges way.

We get referrals from all over,

Probation and local schools.

We track ‘em down for intakes

We try to teach them tools.

We do it for the family’s sake

Because they’re also the one’s in need

You could call us farmers

Because we plant the seeds.

We work with the therapists

They give us our directions.

Service plans, treatment goals,

They help us with decisions.

We collaborate with CPS

To bring a happy end.

It’s more important where you’re going

And not where you’ve been.

Westwood, Doyle, Herlong

We really make the rounds.

Bieber, Adan, Little Valley

We hit every little town.

Where ever there’s a kid in need

There we’ll surely be

It’s the kids that are important

And in that we all agree.
